: Do I need to have an electrician wire the kitchen or fireplace?
Answer: No. Your Kitchen or fireplace comes fully wired from the factory. All you have to do is to get the power to the unit. All you need to do is run a 25 amp service installed by a licensed electrician in rain tight PVC conduit to the location of your unit. All kitchens are prewired
with a GFI breakers already installed right into the unit so there is no need for one to be added to the 25 amp service.
Question: How do you get the outdoor kitchen in the backyard?
Answer: Your Kitchen is built at our factory in a highly controlled environment and brought to you fully assembled. We bring your kitchen on a flatbed trailer right to your backyard. We'll need good access to your backyard. We use plywood and furniture dollies to install your outdoor kitchen. So there will be no damage to your grass.
Question: Can you match our pool tile with your kitchen tile?
Answer: If you want a special tile applied to your Kitchen, bring that tile to us and we will apply. Or tell us the name of the tile and we'll do our best to get it for your kitchen. Just be aware things like this take a little more time to get the tile in from our manufactures in custom colors to match your pool. We want our kitchen to be extensions of your house and backyards.
Question: Do you have different sizes of outdoor kitchens?
Answer: Our kitchens come in various sizes. Everyone's backyard is different and unique. Long, short, wide, or narrow, we build to suit your backyard. Each outdoor kitchen has your needs taken into account. For your outdoor tropical paradise, we have 16 stock models that we can customize to fit your needs.
Question: Do I need a building permit for your kitchen or fireplace?
Answer: No. These units are considered portable and just sit in place. They are not attached to your home. You'll not need a permit for the unit, but you might need a concrete slab, gas run, and electrical run for the unit may or may not require one. Therefore, you better check with your local building department for their rulings.
Question: What makes your outdoor kitchens the highest quality?
Answer: We use 2 to 3 times as many
steel studs in our outdoor kitchen construction. All our units have custom framing using galvanized steel studs 8 inches on center or closer. We are the only ones that use more steel. This superior construction technique guarantees a stronger base and a more secure counter. If it is good enough for walls, it is good enough for an outdoor kitchen.
Question: Can you match the color of my house or brick?
Answer: Most likely we can as we have many colors of Ameristone by Dryvit along with tile colors for different looks. We let you choose the colors you want. Our staff will guide you along the way by taking the time to come out after your down payment a do a pre-site. This way we can see what obstacles we will face and whether we have tile combination that will match your house brick stone or wood trim colors.
Question: How long does it take to have my kitchen built?
Answer: It will take 3 to 4 weeks in general to build your outdoor kitchen. Delivery and setup normally take 1 to 3 days depending on how big the project is. Tiki huts take more time to build as we build them from scratch. We take the time to get a quality product as we take pride in our outdoor kitchens.
